This book of poetical imagination is to reveal that the way we are, often stems from childhood and traits passed down from generation to generation.
So from within we must truly allow, ‘If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.’
Education and intelligence have their roles to play, but their importance is strictly limited.
It is the heart that is the key so that our innocent eternal child is always in communion with his father.
Then we will not or cannot lose contact with life.
A Child Unheard in everyone to be free.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
David Russell was born in 1952 and within five weeks required emergency surgery for a condition known as pyloric stenosis, which at the time was life-threatening. The doctors operated without anaesthetic.
He suffered from psychological problems and was dubbed at the age of three as a “rather miserable, stubborn, difficult boy.” As an adult, David was diagnosed as a “schizoid personality, depressed and unable to maintain relationships due to severe narcissistic damage.”
He was eventually referred to a psychotherapist. Whilst there are still the occasional dark days, the inner healing, self belief and personal development that have stemmed from David’s work through counselling and with his psychotherapist have completely changed his life.
The book is intended to reciprocate the love and support that he has received over the years, and also to reach out and help those who have had similar experiences.
